02 The research approach

From observations to understanding.

Read the proposed methodology

A quantum reservoir is one part of a hybrid system. Its value must be tested against strong classical alternatives, with the same information, careful validation and a complete account of cost.

Architecture under investigation

Investigate whether reservoir dynamics provide useful temporal features. Distinguish simulated circuits from quantum hardware measurements. Input encoding, washout, replay, shots and measurement all contribute to cost.

From atmosphere
to airflow.

Four of Mike’s car concepts, each with its own computational geometry and Mojo flow result. Choose a design, inspect its Gmsh mesh and replay the computed airflow. The QRC comparison remains to be run.

How does uncertainty at the smallest scales relate to the unpredictability of the world we observe?

Our mission is to investigate dynamics at the Kolmogorov dissipation scale and the possible links between microscopic quantum uncertainty and macroscopic dynamics. The connection is a research question, with mechanisms and limits to establish.

Different physical descriptions. These relations do not define a shared length or a universal quantum–classical crossover.

Quantum uncertainty, chaotic sensitivity and uncertainty in measurements or models describe different things. A credible study must tell them apart.

A discipline of evidence

Prediction is a question.
Advantage is something to measure.
